With Master of Science in Maritime Management, University of Split, Business career has started as natural path after sport career as professional racing sailor.Inspiring others for sailing culture has become leading point for personal and proffesional life.

Holder of World Champion Prize in Women Category ORC 2013, Ancona, Italy
Leader and Skipper of Women’s FRAPA Sailing Team from Marina Frapa, Croatia – many prize winners in ovearll categories and mens competition as well. As the team started to sail on Beneteau 25 – Platu, later on Marina Sport 36 and now competing in Melges classes. Part of many successful mixed crews for races series in Adriatic, Carrebean and Mediterranean.
Working and speaking on 3 different languages, beside Croatian Language as mother language, took me to business career development working with brands in different shipyards as Sales Manager for Beneteau Croatia , Salona Worldwide, Bavaria Mediterranean and Tyde with THE ICON as market breakthrough. In regard to long working experience, I managed to develop great instinct and fine sense for nautical market.

Fluent in English and Turkish language. Safely navigated and operated luxury yachts, sailboats, motorboats and catamarans with a focus on client satisfaction and safety.
Developed robust knowledge of Turkey’s Aegean and Mediterranean maritime routes, enhancing passenger experiences by planning and customizing tours.
Managed boat maintenance schedules, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance with maritime regulations.
Provided training and mentorship to junior crew members, enhancing team performance and cohesiveness.
Built a wide network with yacht owners, brokers, and maritime service providers, facilitating reliable contacts for used yacht sales.

Maja Juzbašić
Expert for Tourism
Maja is graduated Professor of Italian Language with graduation in Art Historian.
Outside of University Diploma she is fluent in Spanish and English Language. All 3 mentioned languages, she is using as base for everyday business tasks.
With long experience in Tourism as commercial manager for Hotel offer variation, then as important part of well known tourist agency, she developed her own agency specialized for Touristic Groups around Adriatic and Balkan countries. In last decade she is showing great interest for Sailing, while she is taking part of sailing teams in her hometown Split. She is proud mother of two beautiful children. She is very active on World Tourism Map Network where she can provide best possible service for our Charter Clients.

With a Master’s degree in Maritime Management from Maritime University in Split, Barbara brings extensive expertise and a deep understanding of the maritime industry. Currently advancing her knowledge by studying Psychology.
Barbara’s practical experience as a professional skipper, combined with her academic pursuits, provides a unique blend of skills in both maritime management and psychological insights. Passionate about sailing and committed to lifelong learning, Barbara excels in leadership and teamwork, inspiring others within the maritime community.
